Dr. Mark Delowery, InGenesis Chief Medical Officer, is the elected Chair of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) TC 304 and Head of U.S. Delegation. InGenesis is the administrator, and Dr. Veronica Muzquiz Edwards, CEO of InGenesis, serves as the global chair for ISO TC 304 Healthcare Organization Management (HOM).
ISO Technical Committee 304
The goal of ISO TC 304 is to provide HOM tools that allow healthcare systems to build a firm foundation from which best clinical practices arise. The premise of HOM asserts that more financial and other resources can be liberated to serve clinical goals and patient care imperatives if the non-clinical aspects of the healthcare experience are better managed upfront.
Current TC 304 efforts include the following areas: healthcare supply chain, capital management, patient admission and discharge approaches, human resource and facilities management, healthcare quality, risk management, pandemic response, amongst additional timely topics.
